Top Cahors estate’s value Malbec: certified-organic producer, unoaked, fruit-forward style that’s versatile and great for weeknights.

About the wine

This is an everyday Malbec made by one of Cahors top estates. The winemaking pedigree is there so just crack the bottle and enjoy. A much juicier expression of Malbec than you might expect not hiding behind any oak. Juicy and easy drinking.

About Château du Cèdre

The wines of Cahors have been handcrafted since the Middle Ages, and the family-run Château du Cèdre is one of this dramatic region’s elite. The Vineyard was started in 1958, by planting some vines on vineyard land devastated by the frosts in 1956. They have added one more hectare of vineyards in three different plots every year. The estate is now run by Pascal and Jean-Marc who studied winemaking in Burgundy & California, and Bordeaux. The estate has been certified organic since 2012.
