*Kitchen open Wed - Saturday 6pm - 9pm.*

Our bar is a relaxed space where our guests can visit for a glass of wine or a few small plates. Inspired by the Parisian caves à manger, a revolutionary dining concept now well-established in the French capital, which offer deli-style dishes alongside an extensive well-sourced, organic or biodynamic wine selections, all at affordable prices.

At our bar, we can introduce you to lesser-known wines that we think taste amazing and are produced by sustainably focused producers. We want to make good wine accessible for everyone and encourage you to experiment with new flavours and combinations. That’s why all our wines from the shelf are available to drink at the bar for just £7.50 extra when ordering food, rather than the higher traditional restaurant mark up.

Each week, we select 12+ or so wines to pour by the glass. These are always wines that we think are particularly special or taste incredible at that point in time.

Now taking bookings, just head to the reservations page.

OUR ETHOS

We source all our drinks from small-batch producers and growers who put sustainability at the forefront, who look after the land and put lots of love and attention into their products. This low intervention approach does not mean they have to be unconventional or challenging, but they always have a real sense of place.

The  wine is, of course, the star of the show for us, so we only work with who we think are the best specialist importers in the country. We have a central focus on French wine but have a strong contingent from the rest of Europe and a small selection of our favourite new world wines.

Events

We host a wide range of events here at Cave, from wine tastings to collaborations with some of our local friends, so keep your eyes peeled for the latest news.

Every other Tuesday, we host a wine tasting at our bar, exploring a different theme over the month. Whether it be countries, regions or a particular style of wine, we aim to give you a taste of our favourite lesser-known wines. Tickets prices vary but they are around £30 and include five or six wines per person, plus a selection of cheese.
