Why Cave selected it

Great-value, darker-style Abruzzo rosato as an alternative to pale Provence, from an organic/biodynamic project; versatile and easy to enjoy.

About the wine

This darker rose is well balanced, easy drinking and versatile. It is for wine lovers who are bored of the endless Provence-style rosés, or who enjoy lighter reds such as Beaujolais Villages or Etna Rosso.

About Sassi

Seriously good value wine from Abruzzo. Organic and biodynamic certified wines created by 7 different producers in the area who were tired of the blending their grapes into the generic and conventionally made co-op wines. And there Sassi was born. Labels are designed by tattoo artist Michele Labbati with the idea of symbolising the connubial of sea and mountains.
