Le Marne is a family run business set up in 2002 by two winemakers Federica Carraro and Luigi Grosso. All their activity is conducted with organic farming methods and the vines are worked in such a way as to respect the biodiversity of the environment, to create and preserve harmony between nature and man and to produce wines that can be the most genuine and natural expression of the terroir.
The grapes are harvested with slight over-ripeness. After wild fermentation the wine is aged on the lees for a long time, in concrete. The slightly over-ripeness in the grapes combined with the prolonged stay on the lees gives a wine of great mineral expression and amazing ageing potential.
