Typically in Piemonte, the top sites are reserved for Nebbiolo, but in Massimo Benevelli’s vineyard, Barbera enjoys a privileged position alongside his prized Nebbiolo rows in the upper portion of the south-facing Ravera cru. Massimo describes this Barbera as rich and full, well-structured but at the same time soft and velvety.” In other words, just the balance we look for in fine Piemonte reds!
