Why Cave selected it

Combines Gewurztraminer’s heady aromatics with orange‑wine texture; organically farmed (Ecocert) and bottled without sulphites; expressive yet dry and food‑friendly.

About the wine

Richly aromatic Gewurztraminer with a gentle skin-contact twist. Made from organically grown grapes in Alsace, this has expressive peach and rose-petal aromas, warm spice and a dry finish. A short maceration for part of the blend adds a little grip, while eighteen months on the lees brings a supple, rounded texture. Plenty of perfume and generosity, with real substance behind it.

Serve lightly chilled with roast squash and warming spices, chicken tagine with apricots, or a piece of ripe Munster. A lovely bottle for anyone drawn to fragrant whites who wants to explore a little further.
