A blend of Sauvignon and Semillon Fermentation takes place in steel tanks and refines in the same tanks for six months where it remains on the fine lees. Lovely crisp white Bordeaux.
Notes on the Producer
The Deville family is famous for being a historic Maison in Verzy, the elective home of Pinot Noir in Champagne, precisely 20km from Reims. Jean Paul, the current generation owner, who is waiting for his daughter Marie Alice to take the reins one day, is an eclectic character and when he decided to double down he did it in style.
His approach is markedly respectful of nature and the biodiversity of the vineyard ecosystems, with the aim of bringing to the winemaking process frank and sincere grapes that have been treated as little as possible and are a pure expression of this incredible terroir.
