In the winery, the grapes are gently pressed and, once the must is decanted, it ferments spontaneously with native yeasts. The wine is then aged for 12 months in neutral French oak barrels. A beautiful, poised and energetic style of Mersault.

Notes on the producer

Antoine Lienhardt is making wines in ad sround AOC Meursault/Côte-d'Or, in Burgundy (France). Considered one of the most talented winegrowers of the new Burgundy generation, Antoine Lienhardt and his sister Héloïse produce bright and energetic wines in the prestigious Côte de Nuits. These are natural, organic, biodynamic and vegan-friendly wines treated as Grand Crus and that are the delight to those who love minimal intervention methods.

Antoine Lienhardt Meursault Sous la Velle comes from 60-year-old vineyards in the village of Comblanchien. These vines are planted in very rocky clay soils. They are cultivated using organic and biodynamic agriculture, limiting yields to achieve a good concentration and harvesting manually at the optimum point of ripeness.
