About Hors Champ
Hors Champ is Cyril Fhal's Roussillon négoce project, made alongside his work at Clos du Rouge Gorge in Latour-de-France. Created after difficult dry vintages reduced yields at his own estate, the project lets him source fruit from growers working to similar organic-minded standards and make small Vin de France bottlings.
The wines are handled gently, with native-yeast ferments and a restrained cellar approach, so the emphasis stays on freshness, texture and the Roussillon fruit source rather than on a polished house style.
