About Domaine Josmeyer
Based in Wintzenheim near Colmar, Josmeyer has been a family estate since 1854. Fifth-generation sisters Céline and Isabelle Meyer lead the domaine, with Isabelle responsible for winemaking and Céline overseeing management and vineyard work. Its vineyards include the grands crus Hengst and Brand.
The estate has cultivated its land organically and biodynamically since 2000, with certification from 2004. Art has long been part of its identity, expressed through distinctive labels and a patient, individual approach to each wine.
In the vineyard
Living soils and biodiversity are central. Natural grass cover, varied plantings between rows and biodynamic preparations accompany attentive work across the estate’s many small parcels.
In the cellar
Hand harvesting, slow pressing and spontaneous fermentation, followed by maturation on fine lees in old wooden foudres. The aim is precision, texture and a clear expression of the vineyard.
Cave on Domaine Josmeyer
Dry Alsace whites with freshness and texture, made by a family that brings care and individuality to vineyard, cellar and label.
