About Mare Nostrum Vini
Mare Nostrum Vini brings together Antoine Isenbrandt’s Mediterranean roots and grower relationships with Athénaïs de Béru’s winemaking experience at Château de Béru in Chablis. Based around a shared interest in coastal vineyards and regional grape varieties, the project works across Mediterranean wine regions.
Its cuvées take their names from local winds, connecting each bottle to the landscape where its grapes grow. Marin is rooted in the Picpoul vineyards around the Thau lagoon in Languedoc. The labels draw on the changing colours of the sea and mark each wine’s origin on a Mediterranean map.
In the vineyard
Selected coastal vineyards and local grape varieties, working with growers who farm organically and, in some cases, biodynamically. Each wine reflects its own place and growing conditions.
In the cellar
Hand harvesting and patient maturation, with barrels, amphorae and glass vessels chosen according to the wine. Some grapes travel in refrigerated transport to Béru; others are vinified near their vineyards.
Cave on Mare Nostrum Vini
Mediterranean grapes given time and care: wines that combine coastal freshness with texture and individuality.
