Agricola VinB
Sicily Italy
Biagio and Vittorio, both natives of Chiaramonte Gulfi with extensive backgrounds in the wine industry, launched this project in 2021 after gaining experience in renowned wineries such as COS and Arianna Occhipinti. Initially working on 1 hectare of rented Nero d’Avola and Frappato vines, they now own 1 hectare and manage an additional 2.1 hectares between the hills of Chiaramonte and the sandy soils of Vittoria. The vineyards are cultivated following regenerative organic farming principles, focusing on revitalising the soil through cover cropping, crimping, mulching, and minimal tilling, primarily at sowing time. In the cellar, no additives are used, and extraction is kept minimal to achieve wines with soft, elegant textures. The aim is to produce wines that are thirst-quenching, elegant, and intense, with sulphur (SO₂) used only if absolutely necessary before bottling to ensure stability.
