About the wine

he fruit was handpicked on 4 March, hand sorted and crushed before it was pressed into tank. Cold settled, the wine was fermented in stainless steel until it was bottled in June 2020

Notes on the producer

Yabby Lake Vineyard was established by the Kirby family in 1998, in Tuerong, which is located in the northern part of the peninsula. Over the past decade, the vineyard has built a reputation for single vineyard chardonnay and pinot noir of great purity and character. They craft a small selection of single vineyard and single block wines off their special site in Tuerong. The focus is on pinot noir and chardonnay, but they also have small plantings of pinot gris and syrah.
