Why Cave selected it

A fragrant, graceful red Burgundy with accessible fruit and delicate structure.

About the wine

Fresh cherry, wild strawberry and plum lead this fragrant Morey-Saint-Denis, with a subtle orange-zest note adding lift. The palate is medium-bodied and open, with delicate tannins and an appealing freshness.

A Pinot Noir from the Dujac Fils & Père range, it puts perfume and graceful fruit ahead of weight. Enjoy it slightly cool with roast poultry, duck or a mushroom dish.

Vineyard & terroir

Morey-Saint-Denis in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits; a village-level Pinot Noir.

About Dujac Fils & Père

Dujac Fils & Père is the négociant venture established in 2000 by Jeremy and Jacques Seysses, the family behind Domaine Dujac in Morey-Saint-Denis. It is a separate range from the domaine’s estate wines, built on partnerships with growers in Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. The family works with its growers on farming, yields and harvest dates, and vinifies and matures the wines with the same attention to place and detail as its estate bottlings.
