Why Cave selected it

Generous white fruit and a creamy texture balanced by citrus freshness and a mineral finish.

About the wine

Lemon, white fruit and a touch of smoke give this Meursault a fresh, inviting nose. The palate has a gently creamy feel, balanced by lively acidity and a mineral edge, with toasted almond notes lingering on the finish.

Made from Chardonnay from Les Narvaux, this is a generous but poised white Burgundy. Serve lightly chilled with roast chicken, fish or dishes with a creamy sauce.

Vineyard & terroir

Les Narvaux, a village-level vineyard in Meursault, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy.

About Domaine Ballot-Millot

Domaine Ballot-Millot is a family estate based in Meursault in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Charles Ballot represents the sixteenth generation of a family whose winegrowing history dates to 1630. The domaine’s wines span Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet, alongside red wines from Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. Charles grew up working in the family cellars, learning the craft from his father, and continues the estate’s close connection to its villages and vineyards.
