A lighter style of Grüner than you would normally drink from younger vines fermented and aged in stainless steel rather than the usual large Austrian Foudre. This is a modern style Gruner that is incredibly moreish.
Notes on the producer
Matthias Warnung honed his craft around the world, most noticeably with the famed natural winemaker Craig Hawkins of Testalonga in South Africa. He adopts a similar approach in his wines, working organically with natural ferments and as little human intervention as possible. His wines show a new approach to the classic varieties of Kamptal, Austria and the results are very exciting indeed.
