Nicolas Réau
Loire France
Nicolas Réau started out as a jazz and blues pianist, before making a dramatic career change that took him into the world of wine. However, he's already built quite the reputation in the community, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Marcel Lapierre and Yvon Métras. Réau also married into the industry, coupled up with Sylvie Augereau: she's a wine writer and huge proponent of the low intervention wine movement. It was Sylvie in fact who came up with the fun name, a play on the french words found commonly on house fronts - ‘Attention Chien Méchant’ - ‘Beware of dangerous dog"..
