Matthieu Barret

Matthieu Barret, a seventh-generation vigneron, took over Domaine du Coulet in 1998 at the young age of 23. Previously, the family estate had primarily supplied grapes to renowned producers in the Northern Rhône. Barret has dedicated himself to biodynamic viticulture, resulting in low-yield, high-quality wines. His wines are known for their purity and expression of the Cornas terroir. With minimal intervention and low sulphur additions, Barret’s wines offer a taste of authentic, natural winemaking.
