Azienda Agricola Pianogrillo

The Pianogrillo farm is an ancient Sicilian fief, in the Iblei mountains in Chiaramonte Gulfi, and has belonged to the Piccione di Pianogrillo barons for centuries. In Pianogrillo they produce high quality, well-known extra virgin olive oil and, since a few years, also wine, all with organic and biodynamic methods. The average altitude is about 480m/asl, with calcareous clay soils, cool and windy nights even in summer. Everything on the farm is aimed at safeguarding nature and respecting the natural environment. As a result, they produce excellent quality wines that reflect the original character of the place.
