Why Cave selected it

Classic, organically farmed Chiaretto from the Bardolino Classico zone: hand‑harvested fruit, morainic soils and a fresh, delicate profile that overdelivers for price.

About the wine

The Italian answer to Provence Roses! Bardolino Chiaretto, as it is known locally, is home to Italy’s greatest rosé. Made with a whole bunch of pressed grapes from Lake Garda’s eastern shore – where the glacial soils create wines with unmistakable minerality – this crisp and refreshing rosé is produced organically by Stefano Casaretti. You could be drinking Beaujolais.

About Azienda Agricola Casaretti

Right at the heart of the traditional wine growing region of Bardolino, the estate Azienda Agricola Casaretti is located among morainic hills on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. Relying on over 100 years of tradition, they produce all of the wines that are typical of the region. Due to the influence of the Lake, it benefits from a mild sub-Mediterranean climate, which favours olive and grape growing.
