This cuvée, named after my grandmother, is made from Vermentino grapes grown on granite and schist, and slowly fermented and aged at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks.
Notes on the producer
Domaine U Stiliccionu, located in Serra di Ferro in southwest Corsica, is a 7.5-hectare vineyard run by Sébastien Poly, who inherited it from his grandfather in 2005. With winemaking experience in Cahors and New Zealand, Poly transitioned to organic farming in 2008 and achieved biodynamic certification in 2013. The vineyard, planted with Sciacarello, Grenache, and Vermentino, benefits from Corsica's unique weathered granite and schist soils, as well as a significant diurnal temperature range. His natural winemaking approach results in wines with freshness, concentration, and a pure, balanced character.
