What's in the box?
Gran Cerdo, Blanco
A tasty white blend from Rioja, majority Viura with a varying composite of grapes making up the rest. This is a versatile white with lots of soft fruit, think white apples and pears along with a dry and refreshing finish. The makers of Gran Cerdo have a commitment to biodiversity within the vineyard.
Gren Cerdo, Tinto
Also hailing from Rioja, this wine is 100% Tempranillo. Made without the use of oak this is a fruit forward expression of the grape, espousing a palate of dark berries and red florals to match a bright acidity. The makers of Gran Cerdo have a commitment to biodiversity within the vineyard.
Domaine des Lauriers, Le Bon Cote Blanc, 2022
The white is a blend of Vermentino and local grape Terret, gently pressed and cool fermented to give a crisp fruity wine. The producers are invested in sustainable viticulture, so they work hard to maintain the earth and natural ecosystems wherever they grow.
Domaine des Lauriers, Le Bon Cote Rouge, 2021
This red blend is from sustainably farmed vineyards throughout the Languedoc. Cool fermentation and the use of stainless steel ensures clear expression of the fruit. Notes of rich dark fruit and liquorice.
Ciello, Bianco, 2022
The classic Ciello wines are a mainstay on the “natural” circuit for good reason. Made from 100% Catarratto native to the island of Sicily, this white wine is bright and alive, like that of the Sicilian sunshine. The palate is textural and flavoursome with plenty to offer. Can appear hazy in the glass as this is unfiltered and unfined.
Ciello, Rossso, 2022
The Ciello Rosso is classic Nero d’Avola with freshness and flavours of dark almost roasted fruits – think black cherries and red and dark plums. There’s some liquorice and then the finish hints at coffee and bitter chocolate.
