What's in the case?

Keermont Estate - Syrah, 2017 - Spicy, Dried Fruit, Lavender

The plots are harvested and vinified separately. In the winery the grapes are destemmed and fermented. Finally, it ages for 20 months in French oak barrels before being bottled by hand and unfiltered. Elegant and vibrant Syrah that will give Northern Rhone a good run for its money.

Domaine La Berangeraie, Cuvee Maurin, 2019 - Blueberry, Liquorice, Silky

In the cellar, they continue to produce separate ranges of tank and oak-aged wines, with their scarce top wines being made from single parcels. They also keep interventions of the wines down to a minimum and have drastically reduced the levels of sulphur. This is top quality Cahors wine

Domaine La Luminaille, Rasteau 'Garance', 2020 - Spicy, Black Fruits, Blood Orange

Garance is a natural dye, made from herbs found in the vines, that produces a deep red colour. Made from the oldest parcels of vines on the property, around 70yo, this wine was destalked 100%, vinified in amphora, then aged in cement. Unfined and lightly filtered with less than 40mg/l of total sulphur. Spicy and elegant. Bring on the cold and the game.

Au Bon Climat, Santa Maria, Pinot Noir, 2020 - Mulberry, Tart Cherry, Woodsmoke

Au Bon Climat’s  Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir is specifically crafted for the British market and not particularly easy to get hold of. A blend from three iconic vineyards, Le Bon Climat, Runway, and Bien Nacido, it showcases the appellation’s character in all its elegance and precision. Classy Californian Pinot.

Fatalone, Primitivo Riserva, 2020 - Black Cherry, Cacao, Velvety

This is classic Puglian Primitivo, silky, velvety with dark chocolate, and dark fruits. Just an absolutely cracking wine

Antolini, Valpolicella Ripasso, 2019 - Morello Cherry, Vanilla, Clove

Ripasso literally means re-passed or passed again and this wine is the bridge between the young Valpolicella and the adult Amarone and Recioto. It's made with the year's wine which is fermented a second time with the marcs (leftover skins etc) of the dried Amarone and Recioto grapes, for 5/7 days. Smooth and velvety yet surpisingly fresh.
