This box includes a mixture of light and fresh white wines coupled with a few bigger and bolder whites to create a box of balance.

Wines in this box:

Ciu Ciu, Oris Bianco, 2022

It has a delicate, straw yellow colour with green shades that emphasises its light acidity and freshness. Stricty hand harvested before temperature controlled fermentation with wild yeast. Cracking value for a solid every day drinker

 Moulin De Gassac, Chardonnay/Viognier, 2022

This is a project from one of the Languedoc's most famous at revered estate's so the winemaking pedigree is top. Cracking value southern French white blend with just the right amount of Viognier in as to not overpower.

 Frentano, Trebbiano D’Abruzzo, 2022

After soft pressing, the juice is subjected to a static clarification; followed by an alcoholic fermentation at lw temperature activated by selected yeasts. It is then aged in stainless steel tanks for 4-5 months, with periodic agitation (lees stirring) of the lees before being bottled.

AA Badenhost, Seateurs Chenin, 2022

The grapes are hand picked with great care and chilled overnight. The following day they are whole bunch pressed to a settling tank. After juice is started natural fermentation in tank Some of it is also fermented in older casks and big foudres; around 25%of the total before blending. This wine was left on its gross lees for 7 months before being bottled with occasional lees stirring during this time. This is top quality Chenin at quite frankly a bargain price. Probably one of the best value whites in our portfolio.

 Toques & Clochers, Limoux, 2021

A serious Chardonnay that could be mistaken for a top burgundy, this wine really packs a lot in. The diligent use of new oak provides some spicy, nutty flavours alongside a lemony, peachy fruitfulness, with lees ageing adds a lovely richness also.

 Louis Guntrum, Riesling, 2021

This has the elegant and classical Riesling scent, beautiful fruit and a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with low alcohol to boot.
