 Wines in the box:

Indigo, El Risco, 2021

Full bodied and full of charming rustic vibes. A great go to wine. Grapes are handpicked. The three varietals are then co-fermented with 20% whole bunch. Alcoholic fermentation with wild yeasts lasts for around seven days. There’s gentle extraction followed by a short maceration. The wine is pressed off the skins into tank using only free run wine before it undergoes full malolactic fermentation. The wine is cold stabilised and given a fine earth filtration prior to bottling.

Chateau Ollieux Romanis, Cuvee Classique, 2020

Fermented and aged in tank for between 12-18 months. No oak ageing is involved. This is a good value ripe wine with luscisous dark fruit flavours and a touch of herbiness reminiscent of the local garrigue. Langedoc wines generally represent great value for money and this is no exception.

Principiano Ferdinando, Dosset Vino Rosso, 2022

Fermentation with indigenous yeasts without added sulphur then aged in stainless steel tanks for ten months. This is a lighter and juicy style of Dolcetto, although still packs a punch. It is perfect with any pizza or pasta.

Fattoria Alois, Fiano, 2021

A fascinating Southern Italian white with a richer, almost waxy texture that’s known to be age worthy. An almost fleshy nose, loaded with peach and apple fruit. Beautiful bright lift on the palate keeps the energy levels high. If you like richer whites and want to try something a little different look no further.

Moulin De Gassac, Chardonnay/Viognier, 2022

This is a project from one of the Languedoc's most famous at revered estate's so the winemaking pedigree is top. Cracking value southern French white blend with just the right amount of Viognier in as to not overpower.

Celler Masroig, Sola Fred Blanco, 2021

Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled, stainless steel tanks. Wine is aged for 3 months on the lees before bottling. An elegant, easy to drink white with a nose of tropical fruit, white blossom and herbs. On the palate it has fresh and invigorating acidity and a roundness from the Grenache Blanc
