An absolute stunner of a wine, gloriously luscious, it pairs beautifully with goat cheese and sheep's cheese, fresh figs, strawberry coulis, as well as with chocolate and red fruit desserts. One of the Best Banyuls producers around if not THE BEST.

Literally diving right through the heart of the Mediterranean, the Côte Vermeille is probably among the most spectacular regions of France.

Driven by passion, tradition and quality, Jean Francois Deu has been growing vines since 1975 at Domaine du Traginer. The vineyard is made up of narrow steep terraces made of schist soil that benefits from an exceptional climate and exposure.The vineyards have been practising biodynamic farming since 1997 and the 16-hectare vineyard is entirely ploughed by a much-loved mule named Diego and is guided by his "traginer", which means a mule driver in Catalan.
