Hughes-Béguet silk blue ploussard trousseau From the hands of excellent winemaking duo, Caroline Hughes & Patrice Béguet, Hughes-Béguet craft complex, fascinating cuvées from biodynamically-farmed vineyards.

The Domaine Hughes Beguet winery is located in Mene, a small village adjacent to Arbois. It was born in 2009 when the oenologist Patrice Beguet abandoned the urban life of Paris and returned to the countryside with his wife, Caroline Hughes, an Englishwoman. The couple bought 4.5 hectares of vineyards in the Arbois appellation at over 300 meters above sea level, including one of the most coveted slopes of Arbois, Le Corvet.

They have just under 5 hectares of vines in Arbois. They are committed to biodynamic viticulture, sowing wild flowers, legumes and native fruits between the vines, and also keeps bees to encourage biodiversity. Fermented with wild yeasts and made with minimal intervention in the cellar, their wines are always captivating and memorable interpretations of the Jura terroir. Definitely ones to watch.
