Light, fruity and peppery these are the wines of South West we love to drink when holidaying in that part of the world. Its a pleasure to crack a bottle and they always represent great value. Nothing much more to say this is juicy, interesting and delicious and just perfect for when BBQ season is upon us again.
Notes on the Producer
Belonging to the Balaran family, the estate is now run by Jean-Marc and his daughter Aurélie, whose vocation is to produce generous and modern wines while preserving family know-how and traditions.
Located in the department of Tarn, the vineyard is located on clay-limestone soils and benefits from a south-east, south-west exposure allowing to create wines of character, open and aromatic. Today, the estate cultivates several grape varieties (Prunelart, Duras, Breaucol, Ondec, Lenc de l'Elh and Mauzac) all cultivated in a sustainable way. This estate is recognised as an independent winegrower because it grows, raises and markets its own wines, which guarantees respect for the terroir.
